My Car
1972 Q code Mach 1
Yesterday my mom drove my 1965 coupe and gave it to my 17 year old nephew, my sisters oldest. She got the car on her birthday in 1981. I bought it from her in 1995. Had to let one go so i could focus on My Mach 1 and my camaro, 68 convertible. Still hard to let her go. Car has heavy springs, new front end and brakes(drum) and good interior. I took out the 357 stroker, since a 17 year old has no biz with one of those. tempted to put it in the 72 but its an original car so its probably just talk, but if the cleveland goes out... Just wanted to share. Im sure some of yall know how i feel.

You should let your nephew and mother know that you get first dibs if he decides to get rid of it so it can be kept in the family.

357 stroker......very nice, I was thinking if I ever had to do my engine I would do a 347 stroker
If that car leaves the family THERE WILL BE BLOOD! My nephew is in heaven. Just called to thank me again. I did the right thing. My daughter is 7 months right now. In 16 years she will be ready.

Did you give him the speech.....the one that says he if ever decides to sell it, better go back to you ... or he will be minus certain body parts? lollerz

64 -66 mustangs are fantastc little trully classic cars... I had 2 and each one more comfortable than the other... I too had to let them go and yes.. it is kinda sad but on the other hand, another person will enjoy what we can´t enjoy having a lot of projects between hands...

Keep the track on your 65 and remember it as a fantastic little car that she is! :)
