Very brief TV sighting of a 1971 or 1972 pewter Mach 1 from the old "Cannon" TV series.

See at 26:59

Unfortunately, this German-language (I think) version is the only one I could find.

Funny how car going away from the parking lot does not look like the Mach!  LOL

Great example of how contracts with studios "got cars from Ford" for use. First shot looks one car that had Alum mags added but then the "get away" shot is a different car (non Boss, likely used for hard duties). Sometimes plots have action/wrecks planned and get edited out.

Cannon season 3 episode 7 Night flight to murder was aired Oct of 73 ....so likely these are a 72 and 73 Mustang (doctored to look different) hence the wheels on the early car. There wasn't anything that didn't happen to lot cars. The burnout car could be a 72 4 speed they swapped the 73 wheels onto!

P.S. Many stories of "executive producers" requiring certain cars for movies - knowing they would get from the studio for a song afterwards !

I really enjoy watching this and some of the other series shows from the late 60's and early 70's just to see all the old cars which were obviously almost new back then.

On that Mach - someone also added the (not original for that car) side stripe! :)
