Nicely done. I published a YouTube video covering these Ported Vacuum Switch units, (aka Thermal Vacuum switch units), to include a video showing how to test these vacuum switches to make certain ported vacuum is getting to the Distributor Vacuum Advance Diaphragm with the coolant at normal operating temperature. I will be adding your post to my little library.
For anyone needing a Vacuum Schematic for engine emission control vacuum systems for Mustangs from 1967 - 1972, Mustang Barn has provided that information online on a no fee basis. A few years ago, with Mustang Barn's knowledge and approval, I assembled all of their individual Vacuum Schematics (aka Vacuum Calibrations) into a single PDF document that is grouped by year, and sorted by engine. I also have a collection of Vacuum Calibrations for 1973 Mustangs, to include two 351C 4v calibrations not part of the Shop Manual covering the 1973 Calibrations. In addition the Shop Manual Section VI that covers emission control devices, are also available on my Google Drive.
Both the 67-72 and 73 emission control & vacuum calibration files are available on my Google Drive for anyone who may want the information under the following link:
