It's going to sound a little weird coming from me, but I think that car would look absolutely smokin' sitting just a few inches lower. :p
Yes, drop it a little! Other than that: NICE!!!!

I need to get the front valence painted but this is where its at.

If you don't like the fender decal keep it to yourself.

Cheers

So now I am curious, what vinyl and where did you buy to use for this project???

Very nice job! You have my head spinning with ideas. I had been thinking about how one might use hydrodipping on these old cars, now this seems cheaper and easier. Now I just need to figure out where to use it. Seems like it could be an answer to some crazy chroming ideas.

Cheers,

I've been considering doing my Daughters Escort Zx2 with a wrap, the California sun baked the paint so bad and it's really nice solid little car other then that. Thanks for the post. Question what's the maintenance of a wrapped car? Wash wax anything?

Guys, I'm getting itchy fingers to do the woodgrain centre gauge cluster and the deluxe door trims.

I'd love to see if anybody has used this new stretchy stuff inside their mustang.

What are others thinking?
I used 3M Di-Noc black carbon fiber vinyl for my center dash and door panels - I hate the wood grain (wood grain is for Country Squire station wagons... sorry, just my opinion).

I'll try and get some decent pics of it - but as of now, I only have the one pic of the interior since it's been done. Here's the link to a pic, rather than the pic to steal any of rocket366's thunder. ;) :D http://www.mister4x4.net/gallery/image.php?twg_album=1_1971Mustang&twg_show=Frankcarshow4.jpg

You mentioned needing to paint the valance? I thought to use this for the blackout on the bottom of the car which includes the front and rear valance.

I'd love to see some closeup photos of yours.

Looking on the net last night, there's some nice brushed metallic vinyls, eg, brushed chrome, brushed aluminium, brushed titanium, brushed iron, etc.

I must say, the woodgrain looks OK, but just thinking it might be time for a change.
