I don't suppose anyone has had their washer reservoir lid start to warp? Mine is and it no longer seals properly. All the washer fluid sloshes out when I drive and wont stay in. I can replace the whole thing, but i was thinking maybe if I get the thing into a microwave or oven, warm it up and let it straighten back out it would work again. Of course I am worried about melting it completely, or melting it enough that it still wont seal around the base. Any one have an ideas?

You may need to replace the whole unit, don't know if they make lids.

Just bought a new motor for mine. The old one was making noise and

not squirting cleaning fluid all over the car as it was designed to.

Mike is right, you have to replace the whole Res.

And it does make a good "On the Go Car Wash" :D

cool thanks guys. I figured I would probably have to get a whole new unit, but thought I would ask the experts (that's you guys) what you thought first. I am going to try the hair dryer, but don't expect much from it. I think it is the wrong kind of plastic.

The Ohio mustang you linked to doesn't say if it comes with the motor or not. If it is removable I can use the one I have it still works. I also need to get new 'jets' (?). Obviously there is some anti-washer fluid types on here. i get it, not good when they spray all over. I would still like to have the ability to clean the window if I get something on the window on the freeway. I've had that before in my last classic ride ('72 f250) and it almost didn't end well. Since then keeping good wipers and having plenty of washer fluid is a must for me. Even if I am not going to use it regularly.

Thanks for the info guys.

If you need the whole lid i think i have one in the garage if you are interested i will dig it up. The little lid is attached to the big lid i think.
Thanks, I would appreciate it. I think the wife has a paypal account. How much?

Looks like I do have one. If you want it and pay the shipping it's yours. It does have some black paint on it but looks good and is all complete. I will post up some pics of it tomorrow for ya.

You know this threa has got me thinkin about this bottle. Now keep in mind I would never use it as it was intended and spray this stuff on my car. But what if you rerouted the delivery hose to say the drivers area in the car and would it be possible to fill with your favorite beverage and hit it each time you wanted a drink:)

does that qualify as "no open containers in the car??"

Roy! Did you really think the cans back in the day with the spiraled line and dry ice were for fuel cooling?
