Water pump pulley

Hi All

so I ve taken off the non functioning air cond compressor on the 351c off and i also have no pwr steer (factory) yet it runs 3 belts(there is a pulley set up where the pwr steer would have been had the factory fitted it)so now Ive taken the air cond off I want to run 1 belt as it will be just for the alternator and water pump but the problem is the water pump pulley sits to far back to line up with the alternator so buy a new one that doesnt sit so far back of course why didnt i think of that ! well i cant find one i am not the most internet savy but anyway can someone please help me out here can i run my 351c with just the one belt without having to spend $500 plus on an alloy or serpentine kit

You might have to find an idler to go in place of the ps pump. Run 1 belt from crank to alt and 1 belt from crank to wp to idler.
