We got hammered yesterday lots of tornados here in the south.74 here in Al. and Ms.Don't knw the total with Ar,Ok. and Tn. several people lost there lives around here.lots of trees down.Any of our group have any damage?

Glad to hear you're OK through it all. I hate tornadoes - and I hate the types of storms that create them with all the extra side-effects that go with them (lightning and hail especially). Good thing I live in West Texas, eh?

We've had a monster fire threatening North San Angelo and outlying areas, caused by lightning from a couple of storms that blew through last weekend. Everything's so dry here, that even all but the most drenching of rain storms will cause more damage than good. Just about every ground strike caught on fire and we've had several fires to put out. When I left for lunch yesterday I had pizza on my mind... but after getting outside and smelling all the burnt mesquite trees, we wound up getting some BBQ instead. LOL!!

Glad you made through ok nothing but some wind here a little rain around midnight. I remember the last one that came through selma in march of 96 that one did a good bit of damage

The storm is here in Virginia now; we are under severe thunderstorm and a tornado watch until 9 PM!

Here in MD. also. expect 2-3 inches of rain today with high winds and T-storms. News has trees down on top of parked cars already, and still have tonight to deal with.

That same storm blew into our region of Ontario yesterday.....Major rain and wind....we're still dealing with some wind this morning.
