have to pull my a/c compressor and change in a new one :(

Everytime i'm out they pull me back in.

Come on folks, PICTURES PICTURE PICTURES
We finished the door hinge pin by sawing it in half. In the picture you can see we also ground down the top of the pin thinking if we could not knock it out from below, we would punch it out from the top. That did not work either. In the second picture you can see pin stripes were the door meets the body, front is to the right. The door is partly open. Looks like it worked :D

Nearly have everything under the hood complete. Next is front suspension back on and ready to crank for the first time in about 3 years. Cleaned parts again today, thankfully have a small blast cabinet I got at Harbor Freight - worth the price.

Drained a/c compressor, removed old a/c compressor, replaced oring seals, installed new compressor, changed drier, vacuumed system for 30 mins, check for leaking tomorrow.

Have wiring to do tomorrow also for magnetic clutch.

110 heat index about 2 hours was all I could stand. At this rate the headliner/trim will take me 4 days to do.

Good part is, it looks great, high heat= no wrinkles.

I detailed the car this morning for an afternoon charity car show. It was sponsered by Chick Fil A, Walgrens, and BB&T bank. They started it in the afternoon after the bank closed so they would have an empty parking lot. It hit 102 degrees today, but I was lucky and got to park the car in one of the covered bank drive through bays in the shade. I kept noticing small specks on my hood and looked up and there was a huge bees nest with dozens of bees flying around it and pooping on my hood. I moved the car back a few feet and luckily avoided being stung! They only had one prize, one free combo meal a week at Chick Fil A for a year. The judges came back and looked at my car three times and ask a lot of questions, but the winner was a real nice 1955 two tone Chevy.

Lucky your car is not yellow, otherwise you might have been in trouble. I regularly see bees landing on my hood when parked at traffic lights - I guess they see my car and think they've found the flower mother lode....

Did not really do anything to my car, but I sold the 15inch Torq Thrust rims and got a new radiator.

I need to vent a little: Got a new aluminum radiator from Summit in 2008. Installed it during the winter period and started using it in 2009. It lasted for only 2 years before it started to leak. Corrosion from inside (!!), although I use cooling liquid especially designed for aluminum radiators.

Why, thank you Summit for that "Made in China" crap!

The leaking became so strong that I had to have it repaired a few weeks ago. They fixed it but immediately told me there was no guaranty that it would last, as aluminum radiators cannot be repaired like the old ones.

They were right, it started leaking again just two weeks later.

Again a lesson learned. I´ll stick with the stock one. At least that can always be repaired if something happens to it.

Finally got around to start tuning my Holley 950hp with the wideband O2 sensor I got for my birthday/father's day gift. Spent Saturday pm drilling and tapping every passage you can think of in a carb. Now have screw in ifr, pvcr and transition slot jets along with the factory adjustable mab's and iab's. Went from pig rich at transition and cruise and lean at WOT throttle to lean everywhere. Now the fun begins!:D

I cleaned a small part of the windshield and added my MCA sticker!

Okay, I actually did a little more (not much mind you, it was hot out there!). I did manage to pull out the under-layment and take a look at what I'm really dealing with where the floorboards are concerned.

Floor pan looks good. Did you find a build sheet or is that part of it on the floor under the emergency brake.
