Fixed my wheels on my car, the wheel bolts broke loose and were free spinning. We had to drill them out and put new ones in. But i opened my trunk today to find out someone broke it open and stole 150 dollars worth of tools that my dad gave me, and my new brake shoes that I was plannng on putting on today. I swear i feel like parking my car in the same spot and hiding in the bushes with a tire iron!!
That sucks.

X 2 on that sucks

Spent the night until about an hour ago blasting. I figure what dosen't come off now will come off with the 80 grit before I prime. Not including the seams and corners. What a Job. But definetly worth it. As we always said in rescue, "You can't treat what you can't see" !!

Got the cross over and remaining hard line in. Got the new master bench bled and installed. Then gravity bled the system. Got a friend coming over tomorrow to finish bleeding.

Did some more filming for the video clip of my Mustang, as the driving scenes were not good last time we were shooting.

We found ourselves next to a small private Airport and I decided to go and ask for permission to film on their property.I thought :"What can they so except say NO?"

Believe it or not, we were allowed to use the taxiway for an hour.

Where else can you climb into your car, put the pedal to the metal and let the auto trans do the rest of the work until you hit 190km/h (120mph) and the end of the taxiway? Coool!

That way we were able to film the car passing by at high speed from a distant camera angle or to drive side by side and film the car in motion without watching for oncoming traffic. I'm really looking forward to see how it turns out in the end.

The clip will be ready in a few days.........

Here's a little pic I took:

Not much last night. Finished bleeding the brakes. Swapped the rear u-joint out for a 1310-1330 hybrid. (new 3rd has a 1330 yoke) and got the drive shaft back in. The original drive shaft is pretty crusty.. I'm planning on having a 1330 jointed aluminum shaft made.

Installed new Master cylinder on 71. Will measure and cut the rod on Sat and hope to have brakes this time.

Installed my cold air intake (JLT) on the 2011 and the race tune (SCT) as well

Installed a King air dryer/filter and it seems to be good so far (will let ya know how it holds up) I started with 200 lbs glass bead. 80# in the tank then mixed about 30% new to 70% screened and performace wise figure 3 screenings tops. Going for more tomorrow. But found out the front end makes a great parts stand. :p

Bought 200 lbs more of media and filled the cabinet and the tank. Used the cabinet to finish the headlight buckets and will work on the car after the sun starts going down.

Amazing what fresh product accomplishes. Got a ton done tonight. Hoping to start on the interior tomorrow atsome point.

Well 5th Sat in a row working on getting a brake pedal. Still not a good one even with the new master cylinder. But we blocked the rear line off and had a great pedal so we know its in the rear calipers. gonna try a few more things on Sunday:mad: Guess thats what I get for using an aftermarket disc brake kit:mad:
