Im running American Racing Torq Thrust D's. 15x8 in rear and 15x7 front.

These are boss motorsport 20x8 front and 20x10 rear. 275r30 front tires and 275r35 rear. Just the stock cut springs in front and 2" lowering blocks on rear w stock springs. .75 spacers spacers to move them out a bit. Need longer studs to work.

+ 1 on the Boss Motorsport wheels. I went with 20 x 8 Rear and 18 x 8 Front

I'm really pleased with the look of them. Got mine on Ebay.....

Your car looks lower in your avitar picture. Have you changed the stance? Do you have an updated photo?
I havent changed anything other than steering components up front and put disc brakes on it over the winter. Stance has been the same since i bought it. Might just be how its sitting in driveway. heres 2 pics from last summer. Havent got any pics from this year yet, but i will be soon with all the cruises coming up. Back tires might not have as much tread on them as they once did LOL!! :)

Maybe that's the difference! :D

Rims seem to be for me what shoes are for the wife. Just too many.

Here we go:

Original 15x7 Magnum 500s, ruined by the previous owner with sand paper and painted with wheel spray (Picture taken the day I got the car):

Then Cragar Quick Trick in 14 inch:

Meanwhile I had tried to save the original Magnums as much as I could, so I put them back on:

I still did not like it as the wheels are really scuffed and full of scratches from the abrasive paper madness, so, after that, I got me some Center Line Auto Drag:

Cagli# (21)1.jpg

Those Center Lines are kinda funny: I love them on every car I see (including some that are here on the board), but I think they sucked really bad on mine. Maybe it was an issue with width or offset, I dunno, but they had to go.

Then, the car was restored and I opted for the American Racing Torq Thrust "D" in 15x7, that I always loved:

And finally, I found the right look and stance with the 18x9 and 18x10 Bullit wheels:

Although the size and style are good, I doubt that these particular wheels will be the final ones. Wanna get rid of the spacers, so I will need wheels with offsets matching our cars. But these here will have to make do for a while......

rolandmhall....

With that blue paint job, I think anything you put on would look good.

I'm running 14X7 Enki wheels fashioned after the Magnum 500's, (except with steel rivets) they're stamped made in Japan on the rear and "appear" to be period correct (they came with the car when I bought it). I'm looking at purchasing some 15X8 Magnums so I can put 275's on the rear, currently running 245s on all four.

Unfortunately the car did not look half as good as the Cragars back then.

By the way, those Enkis are worth a lot to some people. A guy in Germany was looking for a set just like that.

Here were some sweet Monte Carlo wheels with adapters original owner had put on! cell9999 854.jpgNow it's15x8 magnum 500'scell9999 951.jpg

My 71 still has the rims that it left the factory with on it,

My 72 has aftermarket 500's on it, but I've got a set of 18' American Racing Torque Thrust - II's ordered for it, 18x8 for the front and 18x9.5 for the rear..
