This is a 1 of 51, on the Marti Report 71 Sportsroof (Fastback) Mustang show car Grabber Green Mettallic Z code paint, 3W deluxe white interior, Matching #s 351 Cleveland and FMX auto transmission. This is a show quality car, that needs very little to be perfect. Updates are as follows: Edelebrock intake & Carb. Flowmaster Exhaust, Petronix electronic ignition, white face gauges with green LED'S, pioneer MP3/USB and much more.
The rear fastback window and windshield trim were in a box in the trunk of my car when i got it, ordered the mounting clips from CJ's pony parts and mounted the rear trim with no real problems, but cant get the windshield trim to fit:huh: I cant find the little rivets to attach the mounting clips, and the trim seems to be about 1" to long across the top of the windshield. Am i missing something?

The pins that the clips go on are molded in just like the rear. They make replacements. I'm sure someone will chime in with a recommendation as to best place to get them.

I hope they dont have to be welded in:dodgy:

You need some small flat head sheet metal screws..Lay the clip into position..mark for the screw..drill hole...MOST IMPORTANT...prime inside the hole with a quality primer tooth pick works well..then dip coat the screw threads with primer..screw in while the primer is still wet on the threads..

Check closely before drilling

Usually when a pin is missing it is due to being rotted away

Make sure there is metal there VS filler

Screws tend to leak

Used closed end rivets

You can also use windshield urathane to " glue " in the trim
