Today was a good day to improve the performance of my 1971 Mach 1, 429 SCJ.
I drive it almost daily here in west central Florida; so it needs regular care and maintenance.
Installed a new set of spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor.
Set the timing to 40 degrees.
Adjusted the Holley 750 Carb.
Greased the 2 U-joints on the driveshaft.
Drove it for a few minutes in the area to evaluate my work.
Starts right up cold. Idles smooth. Bolts out of the gate like a racehorse at the Kentucky Derby.
