Question for the masses...

So to get into the trunk, I could drill out the lock. I can definitely do that, however I'm wondering: can you get into the trunk from the back (from behind the back seat area?).

I took off the back seat and it doesn't connect directly to the back of the trunk, but the ragtop mechanism might. I'll probably take that off this weekend but I thought I'd ask first. If I remove that, is there any way into the trunk from there? (then I could potentially dismantle the lock from the inside, right?)

Just considering my options.

Thanks,

One minute to drill it out versus who knows how long to get into it from the inside. To me it's a no-brainer, but I'm a lazy old fart.
Hi Don,

More like 5 minutes, but it drilled out ok. It was my first time ever drilling out a lock so I wasn't totally sure what to expect. Once I got into it and looked then I realized how difficult it would have been to try to come in from the inside. Really tight fit.

Anyway, trunk is open... no hidden bags of money :D  Ahhh well.
