71' C-6 Driveshaft needed

Hi-

Need a NOS or excellent condition ::thumb::driveshaft for a '71 Mustang 429 or 351 C-6 Trans car , part number #D1ZZ-4602-F / Has 3 5/8 " U-joints on both sides . thanks-Dave Christo

The original 429cj C-6 driveshafts have a taper at each end about 3-4" long, not sure about the 351C, but I don't think they were tapered? I think this was specific to the 429cj C-6 applications.

Is there a difference from 71 to 72 drive shaft? I have a 72 shaft from a 351 Q code C6 trans.

The D1ZZ-4602-F was used 71 through 73. It used the 1330 series (large) U joint which measured 3 5/8" across the end caps and is 3 1/2" in diameter. There was another C6 driveshaft that used the smaller 1310 u joint that measured 3 1/4" with a driveshaft diameter of 3". I mention this because I have seen some 4bl 351's that had the smaller u joint shaft!
