Ha I just fed them, they are gone for the day. I'll snap a photo this eve after they finish terrorizing every little thing that moves. At least the Dog is here to watch the yard.

Well, today I learned a valuable lesson, don't pet someone else's pussy.
Ok I'll explain. I'm looking after a neighbors cats while they're away. One of their little shits bit me and drew blood. I guess not all pussy's are friendly.

Thank you for this most thoughtful advice Stanglover!!!

This is Lady Jane Seymour (she has one blue and one green eye like the actor. She is a Khao Manee - a Thai temple cat. She is a diva bar none. She is very nearly the Best Cat Ever, but she is still eclipsed by our Tuxedo Cat (deceased) Dominic.

another of ours, Willow. Saw her picture on a facebook post as she was at a local kill shelter, listed as feral since she had been abused. She was set to be euthanized at 1pm on a Tuesday, we were able (thru one of the shelters we support) to get her out at 12n, just 1 hour before the hangmens noose took her.

And last of our current 3 cats. Stretch was originally named Squeak, owned by an ex friend of mine, an army colonel. When he retired he had 3 cats, and at the time was dating what would become his 3rd (or 4th?) wife. She had yappy little dogs, she was one of those you could tell from the first minute she did not like cats. So they get married, she moves in and all of a sudden, 2 months later she is allergic to cats. He sticks them outside but they stay at the house (one was declawed) so he decides to send them to a kill shelter. And he knows that I and another friend are very involved with 2 seperate no kill cat shelters.

So I intervene and pick up the cats and take them to one of these shelters. 2 were adopted out quickly but the 3rd was not very adoptable , lanky, not cuddly, etc. So after 9 months at the shelter we took him home and never spoke to the now ex friend again as all respect for him was lost. There is more to this story but this is all I will say.

We had to change the name so I would be reminded of his prior life.
