David Fowler has been a fixture on this group for years until he had computer issues, now he's mostly on the FB Groups. He's in Hendersonville, just south of Asheville where the worst of the flooding happened. He just posted on one of the groups that he made it through the storm okay.

I have a good friend who also lives in the Hendersonville area, but a bit higher up in the hills. He too made it through but no power for many days. Now fresh water is an issue from what he tells me.
I've been to this area and it is (was) beautiful. My thoughts are with all who are suffering from this disaster.
