Well what does your gut say? The seller doesn't know much about the car or it's real condition. It looks like a rusty patched car, it has all the wrong parts and it's not complete or running either.

If you look for a better car with an owner who can tell you about the actual condition you will be much happier. It may cost a few $ more but money well spent in my opinion.

Try contacting the owner of the car that I posted about earlier and talk to him about his car.

This looks like a really good buy...especially for a vert. If I wasn't already working on a '72 vert I would be all over it.

Ford offered Light Pewter Metallic as a factory color...so maybe. I can't tell if that grey is the pewter or not from the pics.

For the red one:

I'd say the door was repaired years ago. An it unfortunately faded at a different rate than the original paint on the rest of the car. Good price still.

For the white one:

Very nice car for the money.

I would pass on the first offer for multiple reasons covered previously.

The last units offer.... are the best choices. overall the white one may be the closest to value vs price.

Interesting thread. I realize how fortunate I was to pick up a rust free Arizona car 29 years ago and have kept it in AZ all of that time. When I wash it at the local car wash I use their compressed air guns and blow the water out of most everywhere.

I hope you have luck finding a car. If you need someone to check out an Arizona car PM me.
