1973 DSO Code 87?

Not really sure where this belongs.  I found a rear end damaged 73 coupe with a DSO = 87.  Looked odd to me so of course the internet!  The sites were consistent is saying "Body Company".  This has me intrigued.  What does this actually mean?  Anyone have an idea?  Nothing else memorable on car from what i have seen.  It was repainted, F code.  Hit pretty hard in the rear.

The Ford manual gives same info for DSO of 87 Body Company. You might shoot Marti an email and see if he will answer sometime he does and sometimes he does not.
