351 w on C4 tranny

So I recently put a 351 w into my 72 mustang and everything bolted in perfectly the only issue I ran into the the kickdown rod for the 302w/c4 tranny isn’t long enough to reach the 351w carb is there any other kickdown rods I could possibly get that would fix this issue

I would try one from a 351 Cleveland. The 351 W and C have a taller deck height than the 302.

You can modify your 302 kickdown to fit if you're not concerned about keeping it for later.

I had a 351w+c4 combination. I used one of those universal kickdown cables on it. That frees you up to use different carbs, spacers, and intake manifolds. Never had any issues out of it.
