‘73 vert - I’m having carb issues and my mechanic suggested switching to an edelbrock. I have a 361c with cc heads blue thunder intake, a mild cam and headers putting out about 400 hp on the dynamo. T5 Z spec (0.58 overdrive in 5th) and a 4.11 rear. 8don’t know the cam specs or compression ratio because I got it rebuilt from an estate)
Average rpm when cruising down the highway is under 3000 rpm.

Can anyone suggest the best edelbrock carb and cam for this. Some local driving (racing light to light) and a lot of parkways

I have the AVS2, model 1906 on a 302, 351C, 350 chevy, and a 429, with a mix of manual and automatic transmissions. Its electric choke, which may take a little creativity to hook up. The model 1905 is the same carb, with a manual choke, I believe.
