71 Finally Painted

Paint and striping are done. Next is drivetrain install.

I realize this might not be what you all are used to upon opening the door to a 71. We still need to redo the dash pad.

Does the owner just prefer the look of the 70 dash? The red in the gauges is a nice touch

Sad news today. The owner of this car, Kirk Townsend, passed away this morning. He was a good customer and a great friend. Words cannot express how much I will miss him.

The car is going for exhaust Monday morning, then back to the shop for detailing. It is a very somber feeling working on it knowing he will never sit in the driver's seat. The next pics posted should be from the show.
