Hi all, was on another Mustang Forum but found this one that's more specific to my new project.

After 3 years of negotiation I just picked up a nice one owner garage kept '73 Grande. It was still being driven occasionally up to 2011. In among all the documentation, manuals, service records and receipts I found the original warranty plate as well as the receipt for the new tires that were put on 1,000 miles ago... in 2005.

::welcome:: from Luxembourg, Europe.

Sounds like a cool find.

Post some pics when you get the chance.

We love pics!! :D

Welcome from Ohio

Check the tires as they are 10 years old - some hold up - some fail and tear up the car.

Know this cars history and the owners(s).

It was initially used as a company car for Ford Execs in Detroit, then shipped to Dallas and sold new as a program/demo car. The original owner bought it for his son when he graduated college. The son drove it a few years then returned it to his dad who kept it around as a spare car for all these years until he no longer could drive. I started negotiating with the son 3 years ago to buy the car. It was very well maintained professionally and garage kept most of its life. It's in pretty good shape for a 42 yr old original car.

Welcome and nice car! Is that colour saddle bronze by any chance? I'm asking coz it's my own car's original color... Have fun here :)
I'm not sure what the color is... I just call it brown.

We bought a brand new '73 Gran Torino the same color. I'll have to look it up and see what it's official name is.

Hello and welcome here.

The colour looks like medium bronze metallic.

Any chance to read your VIN?

Howdy from Phoenix. Yes, you found the best place on the internet for support, friendly people and knowledge about these cars. Here you will find lots of support for that sweet looking Grande. It sounds like a heck of a find you have there. I am looking forward to seeing more pics.
