I’ve been away from this site for a very long time and re-reading this thread I remember why. Anyway, I still have my 72 Mach1 but not my 72 sprint convertible #283 that is owned by Mike Berardi in Michigan. The web admin for 1972mustangsprint.com is awol but I did create a Facebook page that has a lot of similar information but not a current registry. As some may know that followed the saga of #285 the car was legit and was last registered in Florida in 2007 and sat until it was sold. The list I got from Dick Smither in 1985 per his research showed the car was in NY per a DMV search and I’m not sure exactly when it ended up in Florida.

I am going back to my old documents to recreate the registry list which I kept up for a few decades until the website became inactive.

Was at Mikes last week, lots of cool Sprints including your former car. Special car for sure .

This is what the car looked like in 1985. If you read the hand written note from Tom P it all makes sense how in looked in 2014.
