73 1973 Mustang Coupe 96k miles factory Q-code- needs extensive restoration

Hi all,

I am the 2nd owner of a 1973 Mustang Coupe that is in the same city since 1973. After years of hope, I decided it's time to let go of the car. I have a clear and clean title, original bill sheet, it has under 100k miles, power windows, standard interior, full console, original aluminum wheels, 8 tote boxes of used and NOS parts, Mach 1 hood (in storage), other body parts from a parts car in case I need them-almost perfect driver's side door, pair of fenders, front valance, and extra glass-all in my garage. Question- I want to avoid selling on Ebay, but prefer any sites that are free and where people have had luck selling. I'm on the East Coast and can not ship. Car needs a full restoration-if possible. I have plenty of pictures. Any ideas?

First, don’t limit your sells by saying “cannot ship.” Your best buyer might be in the EU or the west coast. Also, detailed pictures of each extra part you have, along with the traditional car pics are a must. And, honest pics of the areas that need work or any rust areas. The status of your title is also often a concern of a buyer. You might try Facebook Marketplace.

I'm just hoping someone has a trailer and can just haul it away. The buyer would also have to go to my credit union to deposit funds-possibly. I'm looking for a simple transaction. I can try Facebook.

Post on here some pictures of the car and the parts that go with it so people can get a better idea what you're offering. Pictures really do help get your message out.

Put a classified ad here on the forum. Craigslist is another option, FB Marketplace as well. Buyers will want to see lots of clear pics, VIN number, door data tag etc.
