73 Mach 1 engine out!

Hi All simple question do i need to take the bonnet (hood) off to get the engine out?

so finally the new CHI 4v alloy heads arrived and its time to pull the motor out and send to PLR engines here in OZ where the 351c will get a full rebuild with all the good stuff including a solid roller cam but i am asking do I need to take the bonnet (hood) off to get the engine out ? thanks

Take the hood (bonnet) off, it will make life much easier. Sounds like an awseome engine you have planned there.

Yes as it is too tight with hood on

It is much easier to do with hood off

Mark your bolt locatons with a pencil or drill small holes to insert alinement nails.

Do what Don (oms) recommended, I used a 1/8" alignment holes when I took the hood doors and fenders off the car its makes putting it all back together much easier.
