My crazy son went yesterday and got a new 2018 Mustang GT had the package with all the extras, 6 speed, coyote, gauges, touch screen, leather. We played one dealer to the other and the dealer that lost out said the price he got was $1,800 less than they could get the car for. They sold it for that so I guess dealers get different prices. No pics.
He crashed his 2017 F-150 super crew and they totaled because of bent frame. It went off a little bank about 3' high at 35 mph and did not roll but blew the side air bags because computer thought it was rolling. Did not blow front bags or break radiator. I am going to see what I can get it for off insurance yard. It was loaded with everything including glass roof, navigation, touch screen, hard bed cover, rhino lining and he had added lots of extras.
I looked at the frame and you cannot see any kinks or actual bends in it. The dealer said the insurance company wanted them to pull but they would not. Sure cannot take one of these new ones off road.
Also an interesting note. My son works at BMW. They have so many vehicles, thousands, that need fixicng before they can leave the factory that they hired Jack Rousch's mechanics to come do repairs. They are also putting hail nets over the parking lot the last hail storm cost insurance company over $25,000,000 and they would not write policy unless they put up the hail nets.
Part of the reason cars are so expensive.
