i've never had a need to get a new balancer, but the old one has seen better days in the rubber area.. so with looking i'm seeing internal and external balancers.. the only internal engine work was the crank turned 10k on all journals. which balancer do i use.

1968-1980 302's with the 2M, 2MA, 2MAD crankshafts were considered 28oz external balance engines. 1981/ 302's with the 2MAE cranks were 50oz external balance. If your balancer is marked C9TE-A (C9TZ-6316-A), D2OE-AA (D2OZ-6316-A), D8TE-CA,EA (D8TZ-6316-A) or D8TE-FA (D8TZ-6316-B) you have the original style pre 1981 302 in your car. Any reputable parts dealer can get the proper balancer for you. If you desire the genuine Ford unit, there are several on E-Bay, just search by Ford part number. Just a word of caution, stay away from the Chinese junk. Stick with the American manufactured units so you'll be sure of what your are receiving.
