Any recommendations on a coil spring compressor? My fall/winter project will be a front end rebuild. I looked at an Eastwood internal, and a Tekton (?)internal compressor. They all look alike in the pictures, but the price varys by as much as $20. I plan to use an internal compressor because it looks way safer. Any ideas?? The Eastwood is $43.............

That one looks just like the one that ford dealers used to use. Used one once and found it terrifying. The plates would keep slipping. We finally got one of the springs compressed and out and none of us had the guts to realease it. One of us tossed it in the driveway and one of the end plates let go and the spring shot about 50' across the yard

I purchased one from Autozone that I really like.

Here's a link from Summit for the same piece... only cheaper.

That looks just like the snap on wa92-1a that ive been trying to find used. Last I checked snap on claims they're discontinued and beat used ones go for crazy money on ebay (usually > $150, there's one at $120 on there now)

I might just run down to AZ today and grab one if they have one just to have it.
