convertible top motor

Greetings, any suggestions for source for replacement appreciated. There is one from Summit but not sure of quality. Any experience with this item? The one from Hydro-e-lectric that is about $80. more but perhaps worth the extra $.

Ne experience with that, but If your motor works you can get a seal kit, cheap and easy repair….

no parts recommendations, but the other month I came across amperage levels to use diagnostically. I attached the info in the hope you will find it useful, plus some other convertible electrical info as well.

An aside, in my photos where I am using an ammeter, that is an old school sun VAT-40, which can be used to measure the amperage traveling through a circuit. You do not need a unit that large. I have a few different DVOMs I got via Amazon, which have "amp camp" style inductive ammeter pickup measuring capability (also), but they are far smaller than the VAT-40 i show in my photos.
