I am not a rum fan but when we lived in Brisbane I had to give it a go. It was darn good. That said, we still preferred the sarsaparilla from up there.

Ah yes, there are many good sipping rums. And many of them don't cost a fortune. Try Ron Zacapa 23 yr Centenario from Guatemala for under $40/bottle. You should drink it on the rocks or with a splash (and I do mean only a splash) of Coke or Sprite. Or if you want something a little less expensive try Zaya 12 yr for under $30/bottle. You can't go wrong with either of these. If you give it a try let me know your thoughts! I've converted many of my friends here and most carry this in their liquor cabinet as their "high-end" go to rum. What a bargain!

Cheers!

I'm not sure I've ever had rum
Dana 2 things come to mind 1 you drank so much rum you don't remember. 2 you may be joking
Ha I must admit..... neither. It may be on the list of things NOT to have at a party that I attend? Jack Daniels is at the top of the list. I'm sure my friends decided to add rum to the lists.

other items:

Boones Farm

MD 20/20

Tequila
