Should I replace the distributor or get a new vacuum advance module.

I just checked. My distributor has one nipple on it in the middle going out. The parts store sells one with 2 nipples, one one each end of the vacuum module and one like mine. I should be using the single nipple one, correct? No nipple jokes please, still a bit tender.

It depends on the distributor number,if it is original, which will depend on wether or not the car came with a ported vacuum switch (PVS), which is likely, and if so, is it still working. The PVS is installed in the water pump and will have vacuum hoses connected. This site may help you determining what is correct. http://www.mustangbarn.com/72vacuum.html
