Since I got this car in 2017 it’s always bugged me that it didn’t have the original white interior so after 6 years of trying to find parts including 11 months getting the original comfortweave and silver/grey seat material I’m finally done. I’ve got a few small things to finish up but the heavy lifting is done.

I can’t wait to enjoy it!

P.S. does anyone have a set of 1971 deluxe rear seat belts? 😊

Wow on the white interior. That looks as if I'd have to put booties on shoes before stepping in for a ride.
It looks great.

Very nice Mark. I hope to see you ( and others) at the All Ford and Mustang show in Dearborn, Aug 20th weather permitting of course.
I’m so torn on what to bring to the WHQ event as it’s the 30th anniversary of SVT and I’m an original owner of a 93 Cobra and I also have a Cobra R. I will definitely be cruising Woodward with the 71 all that week and will probably bring it to Mustang alley.

Well, do you have any co drivers......... bring 'em all!
I'll not be at the Dream Cruise on Woodward as it means staying over for the night somewhere and I don't fancy leaving my car so I'll just come for the WHQ show. again as said weather permitting.

Absolutely gorgeous!

@mwilson7 "does anyone have a set of 1971 deluxe rear seat belts?"
I use this to ask a second question on top. When I've removed the interior, found the seatbelts, but they were not used, missing the center anchor, they were installed likely at the plant but because it's a fold down car, they probably ignore to install the center. Anyway, my question is, I saw on Tim's post, https://7173mustangs.com/threads/ti...n-its-50th-birthday.16842/page-20#post-434725
that he has some hole in the side panel that keeps the belts ends. My panels have no holes and I see more have no holes. was this a special option? That looks pretty and would love to add these small extensions/belt holders.

I’m want to go to this show. Praying to the car show gods to find a way for this year .
