Front fender decor trim install question?

Does anyone have any pics or can tell me how the front fender decor trim gets installed? Does it get sandwiched between fender and valance and just held in place like that? Or do the tabs get bent down around the valance?? I can't seem to find any pics from when I tore it apart! Any tips would be great. Thanks!

Here are some pics. It seems sandwiched with clip screws at the ears. Dont know how those things are called but you can see in the picture. I have never installed them so i cant tell you more that what the picture shows.

Thanks for the pics. Seems weird because those uclips are installed on your fender and if I remember tgey were installed on my lower valance and bolts were on fender side. Also the fender brace on this car was on top of the fender lip and on yours its under the valance?? Anyone else have any more info??
