Fuel pump options

Hey guys,

Been told now that I need a better mechanical fuel pump for my 351 Cleveland. The obvious option from what I gather is the Robbmc 550. Is there a happy medium between a bog stock pump and these awsum Robbmc ones. It’s just in Australia these pumps are over $600

Engine is only putting out about 400-450hp but engine builder is telling me if I want to run it down the 1/4 mile (just for a fun night and see what if does) then I need to add the fuel pump and roller rockers.

Thoughts/suggestions?

How expensive is to ship you one to Australia? There are $264 here plus tax and shipping. Email Rob and ask if he can ship you one. He is a very nice guy. He has helped me a lot with my many questions.

Yeh that’s $264 usd. Then Robb charged $83 usd to ship here. All up with Robb it’s just shy of $600 aud or Aussie distributors selling them for $660 aud.

I’ve been speaking with Robb. 5 week lead time at the moment so I’ve managed to get one to try next week that seems a cheaper (cheaper quality to no doubt) and if it does the job like I’m after then I’ll invest in a Robbmc genuine.
