So it looks like soldiers are only going to get about half their pay next paycheck because of the government "shutdown". I guess they don't realize we are people that have bills too.

Half pay is cutting real close for some of us. New car payment ain't no joke and neither is international full coverage insurance.

I totally agree! It looks like they passed a temporary fix until Thursday. Shall we do this drill again all next week? It has really sucked this week at work with pending shutdown. So much effort was wasted on this that I'm amazed, but then at the same time I remember it's Congress were talking about.

PS, I work for the Federal govmnt in that I manage projects that directly support our troops.
