Harmnic Balancer

My harmonic balancer is looking a little sad, the outer rubber is shifted etc. Looking for a recommendation for a replacement that wont break the bank but it a good quality part that will fit proper and work proper. What has anyone else used? I heard the Romac ones are nice but is north of $300.

I like the ATI, but if you are looking for a cost effective solution, then have yours rebuilt

I had my original fall apart and cause some drama. I replaced it with a Streetdamper and it's been on my car for the past 16 years. No rubber to wear out. I really like it. Still pretty expensive though @ $275. If you just need a stock replacement I've used the http://www.damperdudes.net/ in the past with good results.

I've never had the need to rebuild the OEM damper but for a high quality replacement I would only use for high performance engines Romac or BHJ Dynamics which are in my opinion the best in the business.

If your engine is closer to stock Pioneer is less expensive and should suit stock engines just fine.

Another one for the Romac stuff, but a tad pricey. For a good budget balancer the Powerbond street balancer is good and have used several over the years on street engines (have one on my engine now) without any problems. I only use them on street type builds as Romac doesn't do a budget type balancer.
