Now that the mechanical work is close to done I’m about to get rid of the rust and do the body work. My doors have a good deal of rust on the lowers and rust through on the bottoms, my shop suggests replacing them, my fenders are rusted through at the lower rears and I don’t see patch panels available so my body shop is suggesting I replace them too.
Any comments on how close to original own door shells and fenders are the repros?
what has the group’s experience been with the repros?
Any brand better/worse?
Alternatively, anyone have (relatively) rust free doors for ‘a 73 vert fenders they are willing to sell?
