1972 mustang
Hello everyone.
Excited to find this forum. So many questions to ask.
My dad special ordered a mustang in 1971. I received it through inheritance recently. It is a convertible with a 351 and 3.25L gears. I am still going through the documents and stuff. My mom said she almost divorced my dad because it cost so much with all the options :D The build date is 10/71.
Here is a picture.

I plan to just drive it and enjoy it. IT is all original paint and interior. Mustang only has 50K original miles. My dad worked at san jose ford for many years.
I need to get a new heater for and get the air con recharged though. It has a square black plate with letters and numbers on the radiator support. What is that for?

Welcome and howdy from Texas! It looks like your dad left you a car to treasure. The plate sounds like a buck tag. It would have information on what equipment should be on the car. Add a picture of the Comet, also. That's a rare car.

Here is a picture of the comet. This is the picture of me removing it from my parents old house. Also is attached of the dash section of the mustang.

How do I find information on the "buck tag" for the mustang?

Welcome from Illinois. Always nice to see another vert on here. And don’t lose that 66 Caliente.
