So this is pretty much the last rust battle I have to wage on my car. But it's the most severe. I have rust on a section of the outer wheel well to quarter skin. I'm really. Trying to avoid cutting the quarter since is is original and mostly rust free. The good news is I do have an outer wheel well replacement That I'm willing to cut and piece in. So here is my plan of action I'm lookin for input and advice.
Cut out a drawn out section of my wheel well using a cut off wheel. Drill out spot welds holding it to quarter lip. Spot blast all rust. Rust bullet . Weld new piece in and leave the outer quarter work to the body shop. Although I may attempt it myself. Here are some pics
