I have a couple of interior questions.

First question is...what's the best way to repair the part of the door panel where you insert the door panel clips. Some of the clips have ripped whatever that backing is. I'm thinking glue maybe?
Second question is...Why can't you use the "trunk access door latch assy". from a 1970 fastback for the 1971 mustang? Are they a different size?

I've used fiberglass to patch and reinforce those with good results.
