Ideas/pics of where to mount MSD box?

Hopefully my motor will be here soon. The builder is putting a distrib that will run off a MSD box (Which I have already)

Just looking for ideas or pics of others that have these on our Mustangs, on where to mount them? Right now, engine bay is empty, and I will be running a new American Autowire harness (Not yet installed), so I have option of running wires where ever. Thanks!

Under the battery tray keeps it hidden and it's close to the battery for a convenient hookup. I mounted mine to the front of the radiator support with a custom-made bracket.

I mounted mine on the front left along with the coil. I was not trying to hide anything.

Just above the rail back from the washer fluid bottle. That way the LEDs can be easily checked.
BTW: I still have the two MSD units for sale -- although they say EFI, they are the same as any other.

I'm not sure this is a good idea for everyone, as that area is exposed to water when it rains or when one washes the car.

Maybe

It is floating above the cowl floor

Plenty of cooling air and the hood protects it from the rain.

Unless it is in the cabin everywhere else will see water and it should be cooler than the fender apron.

Yes, they are Methods I drilled to 5 x 4.5

Very cool, thanks. I looked hard at some of those. Around here are usually on 4x4s but I think are just nice wheels, and different than the usual wheels we see on these
