Just ran across it in the latest Mustang Times magazine, as someone who looked really hard for a matching number 71 Boss in original condition (as this guy describes it), i can attest that they're really hard to find in this price range. Of course photos might disclose it needing more than just a finishing paint job.

Jim

Seller indicates the following:

1971 Boss 351C, all original with matching numbers. Vehicle has expertly been taken apart, repaired and primed on rotisserie; 47,000 miles, Goodyear Eagle NASCAR tires, original wheels. Car needs top notch paint job and reassembly, 28K or best offer. Call Art at 540-258-2008 or email [email protected] for photos.

Got a responce back from the seller but he didn't include any photos as requested. He indicates he's now asking 21K. He indicates he's in Glasgow, VA about 45 miles north of Roanoke. Here's his responce:

I am asking 21K for it. Its been taken apart and all issues, rust or what ever, has been addressed on a rotisserie. Its been green etched and doors and trunk primed and blocked. There is a Marti report. All numbers match, It was sold in Stauton at Obaugh Ford and has been in this area ever since. Metallic silver with black interior. All original parts are here, carb, distributor etc. The only thing I don't have are the original exhaust manifolds. I have the headers that the original owner purchased. Magnum 500 wheels, Hurst 4 speed and push button, oh boy, AM radio all original. This would be a fantastic car for someone having the painting skills or the money to have a great paint job. Original glass, seats. Carpet was bad so that needs to be replaced. I also have the original headliner but I feel it should be replaced as well.

Anyway, If anyone wants pictures or wants to see the car, I am in Glasgow and will be happy to send photos.

Thanks again for the letter.

With kindest regards,

Art
