Last April in Charlotte I got to talk with Lee Holman some and was at a presentation he did to the group of over 100. He talked of how little Carol Shelby did for any of the cars he drew so much fame from. He was more of a marketing cars salesman than a car builder or designer.
The interview gives the actual names of the people that did the development of the Cobra and Shelby cars.

He will be at the MOM grand opening in April if you come visit you can ask in person.
There is also some mention of the W code 427 Mustangs that everyone says did not exist. Holman Moody built them also. The Wood Brothers have one and I think there are a couple around here local.
Lee gives credit to the people that did the work.
