Welcome from the Florida Space Coast! I’ve been a member for a few months after I obtained a 1973 Mustang coupe that needs everything except the body is basically rust free(some surface rust) with ugly rattle can Sail Blue Rustoleum- yeah I know off it comes once I get it running.
I have Grabber Blue for the final paint.

My question to the group concerns engine ID- casting numbers. I was told this is a Fox engine but need some guidance.

I removed the starter just now along with the passenger side header to get the starter out. Hopefully the pix I took helps ID this engine.

There is no way to see the numbers in the block without removing the starter on this engine.

It looks like E7TE with 6 GA(?) below that.
