New member from Detroit

New to the group. I have been a Big Nose owner since 2019 when I bought a 1971 Mach 1. Then a year later I bought a 1973 Mustang convert out of Orlando Fla. Turns out it was one of 293 sold that year with the Q Code 4 speed in a convert. My wife and I took two second place finishes at Detroit Autorama March 2023. I sold the "71 Mach 1 last September and found this '72 R Code in Ohio with 47,000 miles last November,'23, and hope to have it presentable by this March '24 Detroit Autorama. Will be showing the '73 convert again as well.

Welcome to the forum from Virginia. Do you add the hood scoop on the 73?

Scoop came on it when I got it a couple years ago. It had a tall Edelbrock set up. I have since put the original engine back in. It has a 5 speed Tremec. I have a NACA hood but not painted yet. I'm just having fun with the current look.

That looks like the R code I posted when it was for sale on marketplace congrats on a great buy if so.

Was listed in Clarksville near Cincinnati last Oct/Nov. Very clean but needing a lot. More on that car later.
