I'm hoping the 'doc' will release me from these dam'n crutches cause of hip surgury soon.Been stuck in the house too long! 6 cord of firewood to split for next year,bathroom vanity to build (have to keep wife happy before mustang),then the Mach 1,leaf springs,high torq mini starter,Pertronix flame thrower 2 dizzy +coil,armrests,radio,heater core,window felts,and go to work .Holy crap,just realized I"ve got a lot of parts to put on!

So much of my shop time is wrapped up in helping others with their cars in trying to keep the Auto Hobby Shop open, that I don't actually get much Mustang time these days. Plus, most of the things I do get a chance to work on aren't really picture-worthy (plugging in the wiring harness, testing sockets & plugs, etc.).

I did actually hook up the battery last weekend and fortunately had no smoke or flames... but couldn't even get the dome/courtesy lights to come on though - so I thinking there's going to be lots of little electrical parts ordered soon.

Still working on my shop... trying to get stuff off the floor so I can start working on stuff... Got a pile of parts for the Mach, Merc, and trucks to put on/in.

JUST CAME BACK FROM WINTER IN FL TO CHICAGO STILL COLD HERE. DID YARD WORK IN FL ALL WINTER NOW HAVE TO START OVER HERE IN CHICAGO. PUT 70 & 72 MACHS AWAY IN FL TILL NEXT WINTER. Getting the boat ready for spring/summer is somewhere down on my list too. I'll probably put the blacktop sealer on my driveway this week and finish replacing some of the wood window moldings on the exterior of my house. I started the project last fall and now that it's getting warmer I need to finish.

I had to do the same thing before I tore my Mach 1 down. I knew before I removed 1 signal screw I would need to overhaul the garage and build a shed.

Yup that's my life story. I'm making a date, Saturday April 27th to be back on the Mach 1. Hopefully sooner. I don't care what the house or yard needs that's it April 27th and if anyone shows this thread to my wife there will be big trouble.
