I have had the schematic diagram set that I ordered from Ford for my 73 Mach 1 since 1979. The pages were started to get dog-eared and crispy with age. My wife heard me complaining about about it one day. That week she took them all in to a local printing place and had them laminated. I no longer worry about tearing them or getting grease on them. These diagrams have been very useful to me over the years and now they are protected. Great idea!

Cool, I have a set of those, seems like it is quite a few pages. How pricey was the lamination?
Mike,

She told me it was $8 a sheet. For the protection factor, it seemed like a reasonable price.

There are 11x17 see-through viewgraph sheet protectors out there as well; they are probably cheaper by the sheet. Since the originals were double-sided, this is another way to keep them from deteriorating.

Mine are in great condition, but worth preserving. Maybe I'll check at Staples for the protectors.

I printed my color schematics on my 36" color printer and laminate both sides. Nice for hi-lightning a circuit while tracing them. Also going to print some diagrams and body measurement too. Bought the printer for printing R C plans and custom lettering on my acrobatics planes. Have several 500 ft. Rolls of laminate in different thickness.
