I posted a bit Saturday.... but I knew I needed to do some yard work. 7 or so Saturday night had dinner ...quite a few beers and off to lahhh lahhh land.

Got up this morning ....ahhh nice day to work on the shhhhTANG. Got my new alternator in... man...o mahhhn gonna do some Mach I stuff.

Then I realized I needed new brakes on the scooter work car:mad::mad::mad::mad:...... clean up on the nasty garage....etc etc....etc.

Did the brakes ...clean up.... more yard work.... shuttle kids.... I did get to hear her run moving in and outta the garage though.:(:(:(

yeah guys.... a good day in the garage would be NIcE. Wifey and daughter see it though. I give them credit for saying "hey go play cars" ...... but they dont get it that I'm the plumber, daily driver mechanic, landscaper, botanist, a/c repair guy, etc etc.... if I dont do it...wont get done.

I'm glad it's not just me. I have been rebuilding the deck at my mother in laws. Before that it was my wife's garden beds. Now I have to get ready to go on vacation for my wife's 40th birthday. When I get back I got to detail the 5.0 for the Knott's show. Then back on the Mach1.I hope.:-/

I know what your saying....but some of you guys in the warmer areas of North America cam at least go out and work on your car in the winter.....I crawled around under to many cars on a cold garage floor in minus degree weather to want to do that now. Plus with only a two car garage the wifes car and the Bullitt take up all the room. The 73 gets put in storage for the cold winter months.

Gentlemen, and I mean that in the most positive sense, you are to be congratulated on being a man, a husband, and a father FIRST. More of our countrymen should do the same. Well done! Chuck

c9....I never gave it much thought... and thank you. Looks like several of us have the same standards. My first rule is make sure my kid thinks she's first and mom too of course.... when time allows I try to do a few things for my cars.

This has been a no winter here in SC, only had a coat on a few days, been a great year for working on cars. I'm retired and live alone(that sucks) the days go by OK, nights are hell. Give your wife a hug you will sure be lost without her.

Wow Don.... as I read I thought "alone" man I could get things DONE!!! but as I read on.... sorry fellow. If it means anything, if your wife was like mine.... she would say "get out in the garage and enjoy that car".... at least I'll know where you are!!!
