It's raining here!

There was a conjunction of Saturn, Spica and the moon a couple days

ago; but it was raining. A conjunction is when the three are very

close together in the sky. Not physically of course

The next big event happens on May 20th but only on the west coast.

An annular eclipse where the moon's shadow is slightly smaller than

the sun's disk so you get a "ring of fire" around the moon.

It will probably at least be cloudy. The next event is June 5th when

Venus transits the Sun for the last time this century (next is 2117).
