NEED HELP

Need help...

1-Where should the steering colomn collar clip be fastened (is now fastened on the steering colomn, but where on the car or is it holding the plastic steering collar in place?)

2-The steering column bracket and firewall seal, comes in the engine compartment or in the passenger compartment?

I did not disassemble it myself, so I do not know...i bought the car in 10.001 pieces !! HELP !!

A note on the shop manuals...I have an ORIGINAL set that are very brittle and very used. I also have a NEW REPRINT. The new reprint is very very good as far as I can tell. You can tell the difference in the following way:

Original: NO BLANK PAGE between cover and first page.

Original also came with 22 x 34 electrical wiring diagrams, 2 pages.

Original came with a 1973 CAR SERVICE SPECIFICATIONS book. I have never seen a reprint of this.

Reprint: NO COMPLETE REPRINT SET IS AVAILABLE. Reprints are missing the 22x34 diagrams and Car Service Specification book.

BLANK PAGE between cover and first page.

VOLUME 1 CHASSIS has a "stamp" Ford Officially Licensed product.

I just wanted to inform you so you knew exactly what you are getting/not getting.

Electrical diagrams are available on this site. Car Service Specifications, Second Printing March 1973 are in my possession.
